12.8.2 Performance Standard:
Describe the roles of broadcast, print, and electronic media, including the internet, as means of communication in American politics.

For My Life Project we have to communicate with a lot of different people in a lot of different ways. For example, we use our blogs to show the progress we have made in our projects. To the my life coaches that we don't see very often, this shows them what we are doing, What we have done, and if we are doing anything and not just messing around, Our blogs include pictures of us working on our projects, posts about what we had done the following week, and posts about  our standards either for English or civics/econ. We can also use our emails to talk to other my life students if we need there assistance or coaches if we need help. But we also use our emails to contact those who are not in the program but are beneficial to the completion of our projects. I myself have contacted many people about the skate park over email. Sometimes emails just wont fully explain what needs to be said and i have called people or had meetings with them solely for that reason.
